Introducing the Device Status agent, a domain expert devoted exclusively to Siemens Device Status API operations. It autonomously manages device edge applications by updating software inventory on devices, such as patching edge application lists through patch /devices/{id}/inventory/apps. It performs expert device health management by persisting and retrieving data configuration health status, leveraging patch /devices/{id}/health/dataConfig and get /devices/{id}/health/dataConfig. The agent also handles connection monitoring by retrieving device connection status and sending heartbeat signals via get /devices/{id}/connectionStatus and post /devices/{id}/sendHeartbeat operations. It exclusively uses Siemens Device Status API calls without manual workflow setup, reasoning intelligently over devices, inventories, and health reports unique to the Device Status service.
