Mindflow and Slack have partnered to enable users to automate their incident management and better protect their information systems.
Slack is a messaging app for businesses that connects people to the information they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way organizations communicate. It’s meant for teams and workplaces can be used across multiple devices and platforms, and is equipped with robust features that allow you to not only chat one-on-one with associates but also in groups. You’re able to upload and share files with them too, as well as integrate with other apps and services and you can granularly control almost every setting, including the ability to create custom emoji.
Slack teams allow communities, groups, or teams to join a “workspace” via a specific URL or invitation sent by a team admin or owner. Although Slack was developed for professional and organizational communications, it has been adopted as a community platform, replacing message boards or social media groups.
Public channels allow team members to communicate without the use of email or group SMS (texting). They’re open to everyone in the workspace. Private channels allow for private conversation between smaller sub-groups. These private channels can be used to organize large teams. Direct messages allow users to send private messages to specific users rather than a group of people. Direct messages can include up to nine people. Once started, a direct message group can be converted into a private channel.
