Overview

Mindflow and Have I Been Pwned have partnered to enable users to automate their incident management and better protect their information systems.

Overview

Have I been Pwned (HIBP) is a website allowing users to check if their personal data – email and passwords – has been compromised by a data breach. To that end, HIPB collects and analyzes database dumps and pastebins containing information about leaked accounts. Users can search for their information by entering their username or email address. Also, they can sign up to be notified if their email address appears in future dumps.

A password check has also been integrated in HIBP through a secured communication protocol. Users can anonymously check if their passwords have been compromised without disclosing them in the clear.

By integrating with Have I Been Pwned, Mindflow allows its users to automate checks about their personal data in case of potential compromisation.

Benefits

  • Domain search allows you to find all email addresses on a particular domain caught up in a data breach. A “Notify Me” feature lets you receive notifications if your email appears in future breaches
  • Pwned passwords feature gives you the ability to find out if your password has appeared in a breach
  • Dump Monitor, a Twitter bot, scans for Pastebin pastes to add new potential breaches in HIBP in real-time automatically
