Censys Overview

Censys is a search engine that functions to discover, monitor, and analyze devices accessible from the Internet. 

To that end, the solution scans the Internet to find publicly-reachable devices. It initiates harmless connection attempts to every IPv4 address worldwide each day. When it discovers that a computer or device is configured to accept connections, the follow-up is the completion of protocol handshakes to learn more about these running services (devices, websites, and certificates: how they’re configured and deployed).

By integrating with Censys, Mindflow allows its users to map their attack surface by discovering which devices are accessible from the Internet and keep their Configuration Management Database up-to-date.
